(Spotlight for this year’s SFIAFF is on the beautiful Joan Chen)
I am pretty excited for this year’s SFIAFF. My editor has me covering red carpet interviews on the opening night of the festival. I was in shock for awhile when I heard the news. After the feeling of shock was finished, I started preparing for SFIAFF. There are over 120 works that will be showcased and I can’t wait till March! There are so many films that I look forward to watching. Here is my list of films that I look forward to watching.
1.White Frog, Directed by Quentin Lee, Produced by Ellie Wen
*Harry Shum Jr. and Booboo Stewart are in the film!! Oh geez, I feel like a 16 year old again.
2. Prison Dancer: The Interactive Web Musical, Directed by Romeo Candido

*A film based on the prisoners in the Phillippines organizing a huge dance number?!?! Count me in.
3. Baby Factory (Bahay Bata), Directed by Eduardo w. Roy Jr.
*Strong fictitous film with a real feeling of reality.
4. Papa Mau: The Way Finder, Directed and Produced by Na’alehu Anthony
* The story of social unrest with the history of Hawaii when it was still empowered by the natives.
Hope to see you there! For more Info go to CAAMedia.org, and check out www.audreymagazine.com for my updates on SFIAFF.

They say there is a danger of becoming rich. When you become rich you lose sight of God. Are you willing to take that risk? Are you strong enough to stand against the power of earthly materials and have both the riches of this world and the spiritual riches of God? I myself, truthfully cannot have both at the moment. For I experienced what it would be like to have fame and fortune, and my mind was clouded with earthly riches. I could not help myself. When you get that job or career that you’ve always been wanting, do you find yourself just wondering about all the stuff you can buy? Where’s God in your life?
Today I meditated, contemplated, and wondered how it was so easy to find myself trapped in my thoughts. I want to buy this, buy that, and never had I once thought of my spiritual nourishing! My spirit was thirsty and hungry for me, and I ignored. I live in this world, where I am conditioned to believe that It’s always better to be rich. We mock the poor, and laugh at those who make a meager living. But who is the fool who has no peace and no God, and walks about his day ruled by the thoughts in his mind? A humbling moment for me, it’s time for me to go back to simplicity, and trek my way towards the spiritual path again.

Finally, my favorite luxury brand of all time is debuting a collection for Target! A fall collection, coming out in September 2011. Rumor has it that Missoni will be featuring about 400 items, all with the Missoni swag that I’ve been longing for all my life. This year I plan to buy about everything Missoni!! Finally!! My countdown starts now!

Just received a newsletter that they’re selling Jeffrey Campbell eco-friendly shoes at Convert in Berkeley. I’ve been waiting for some cute eco oxfords to come out! Shop now on fourth street in Berkeley before they’re sold out!

For Mother’s Day, I decided to take my sisters out to wine country, lovely Napa. We all had a wonderful time full of delicious rustic food, yummy wines, and beautiful scenery. Here are some pictures I took that day.
Castello Di Amorosa- I found a ton of pretty things to buy. I was done wine tasting for the day, so I decided to go shopping instead!
Ate Lunch @Bottega. Met Chef De Cuisine Nick Ritchie. Try the truffle fries, they are delicious!
Beautiful scenery everywhere!
And for my two special moms (my sisters) who took care of me my entire life. Salut!
